There is a TV show in America called, the America's Best Dance Crew, or ABDC. It is a show where people from the United States create crews and compete to get the title of America's Best Dance Crew. It was created by the famous, Randy Jackson from American Idol. It airs on MTV channel. America's Best Dance Crew is hosted by Mario Lopez. The judges are, the women hip-hop rapper Lil' Mama, former member of a pop group called the N' Sync JC Chasez, and Shane Sparks, a hip-hop dance choreographer. There are 3 seasons so far in the show, and the first crew that won, was the Jabbawockeez. Second Crew that won was the Super Cr3w, (Super Crew), and the third crew was Quest Crew. There are more seasons to come and to be updated. The show can present various ways of modernized danicng.

Hip hopHop, yes it is a music genre. It grew and evolved in New York in the 1970s mostly by African Americans. The main elements that are dancing are rapping, DJing, and breakdancing.type of music. However, Hip hop cultureHopping is now currentlyalso known and done all over the world.
When hip hop music first started, it was based around disc jockeys who made rhythmic beats by doing small songs emphasizing a pattern on two turntables. Later, rapping went with it(chanting). Original formsto be another type of dress for rappingdancing. It is also arose. Various other developmentsreferred as Street Dancing. Hip Hop is sort of hip hop alsolike the source of Modernized Dancing. It includes breaking, popping and locking, free style dancing, (Free movements) and more. Hip Hop dancing was started to arise.
Hip hop is also related to the evolving graffiti writing. Beatboxing is also aat 1970 at NYC (New York City). Now, even today, new types of hip hop element, mainlydancing are getting introduced like, krumping and clown walking. These are new types of dancing moves used to imitate percussive elements ofby many urban street dancers. There are many competitions on the musicstage and other effects of DJs doing hip hop.in the urban cities. From High Schoolers to Outsiders, (People who live outside in streets). Hip hop dancing is famous for its varieties.

POPPING AND LOCKING: This is another chapter in street (Modernized) dancing. Popping is basically jerking your body by loosening your body muscles. You contract tightly and loosen up which shows an illusion of popping. Locking, is when you do a fast dance and suddenly stop and freeze. What is a freeze? A freeze is a stopping in a dance move, usually used in Break dancing. Freezes can show lots of different poses in amazing coordinations. Locking can be seen well if you master the rythem of freezing and fast breaking, which means dancing quite fast.

FLOATING, GLIDING, and SLIDING: Floating is a dance type where you show an illusion of floating across the floor smoothly. You use between your toe and heel to do this. It is mostly done sideways. Gliding is also quite similar to floating. You push and pull with your feet using the Floating Move. It is required a little more practice. If mastered, this will look pretty neat. SLIDING: This is a dance move that gives out an illusion of walking in mid air or on slippery ice. This common basic movement of sliding is basically also known as Moon Walking.

Using your arms and creating 90 degrees angle, a right angle and moving them in a way that makes an illusion of fast hands and egyptian dancing. It can be very cool if tutting is done right. With some gliding and tutting, you can break it down.
